I have been living in Vancouver, Canada after moving here from Toronto. There is a three-hour time difference between the two cities; Toronto is three hours ahead of Vancouver. I couldn't have imagined that before since I am a Korean and Korea is a small country. We have only one time zone. So, being in one country with more than one time zone is an interesting experience for me. For example, when I got in touch with my friend who lives in Toronto at 8 p.m. Vancouver time, my friend was already asleep. Furthermore, there is a big time gap between Vancouver and Korea. Korea is 17 hours ahead. My family lives in my future! They are living in tomorrow compared with living in Vancouver.
Maybe I'll have to adjust to jet lag when I go back to my country and resume my normal life. Here, I am relaxed and peaceful but when I return to my usual location, I'll be stressed a little bit. Anyway, I now realize we live in different time zones, and that makes me enjoy life. On Earth, there are lots of nations and races. I keep in my mind that I should always have an open mind about any country and any people. The experience makes me a better person. I hope so.
